With that in mind, take in some recommended EEVEE Render Engine settings:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u25bc Sampling<\/strong><br \/>\nFor that extra gritty, painterly look, <strong>I prefer using less samples<\/strong> rather than more. All the paintings that illustrate this documentation were made with <strong>four samples<\/strong> using the EEVEE Viewport rendering. So there you go.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u25bc Ambient Occlusion<\/strong><br \/>\nActivate it, then crank it up. Recommended settings:<br \/>\n> Distance: <strong>12m<\/strong><br \/>\n> Factor: I&#8217;d say anything between <strong>1<\/strong> and  <strong>3<\/strong>, but it depends on the size of the mesh and the distance from the camera.
